Match Lighting:
Jeff -
- Looks a little too much 2D,
- need more contact with the surface,
- not enough texture, add more,
- blurred edge needs to be fixed,
- don't use light wrap unless it is heavily back lit, more edge quality,
- more reflection on stove surface,
- add specular hi-lites,
- "derr" blue - directionally, minor edge break-up, maybe 3 pixels w/ramp.
Roy -
- Place more in palm, a little higher up, and add matte,
- Made shadow about 15% lighter (closer to the color of wrist),
- Darkness on upper left too dark, more fernel.
David -
- Looks good - Final.
Greenscreen:
GS02 -
Scene 1
- Make the blacks match better, tonality.
- Scale a little small, increase about 5-8%.
- (Compare scale of faces.)
Scene 2
- Watch for popping
- Flickering lights / atmospheric
- Black levels need to be set right
- Check footage - are the black levels the same?
GS03:
- Scale, lighting extraction, all good.
- Don't worry about reshooting, there are some tricks to it (see Vince for help.)
- Track needs to be fixed.
- Maybe roto everyone out and maybe do a still cleanplate.
- OR - maybe just add you to the scene, behind the other guy.
UFO:
Jeff -
- b-spline line, constrain to animation path,
- adjust speed based on interpolation
- Split light beam from UFO
- focus on blocking and lighting, hard surface model & light (add SFX later.)
- Try matchmover Pro or the 2008 Maya Solver
Roy -
- Try matchmover Pro (See online tutorials)
- A little slip, but not too bad.
- Get lighting done before worrying about matchmoving.
Cheryl -
- Shoot same footage at different angle (for reflection)
Tyler -
- Tractor beam - save for end of semester, if you have time.
- Lighting different behind bridge & closer to water.
