I discovered a nice trick to lighting your subject during a green-screen shoot...
Use a magenta gel over the keylight. It is the opposite of green so it helps with green spill on the subject. After you pull a nice matte, you can adjust the color.
It all depends on what you are trying to do, but it worked well for my last project.
