*** For final projects: Vince will make Match Lighting I, Match Lighting II, Green Screen, and Final Project folders
*** Make sure to use slates! Even on Ball projects!
*** Need to slate, and keep it to 1 frame!
SMcGraw- BIH
FINAL
SMcGraw- Ball Step
blur shadow, sharper shadow (make shadow buffer bigger, like 2k)
Tetris movie-
try to get the glow back
GS04- 2001 improvement
include shot breakdown
2nd version of stephanie (from screen left) is a little floaty
bring black levels down further, a little too hot
make sure you're not clipping the high end- watch hair highlights
Gulden steps-
Shadow should be more blurry
Bring light back, soften shadows
Indah-handball
make sure to include bounced light into the shadows
drop shadow should match the shadow on the hand
contact shadow will be the darker shadow seen between the fingers
lighting positions - top light should be more closer and more to the right
suggestion: look at other student's work for reference
Indah-stepball
shadow direction is going the wrong way (look in other parts of the frame)
strong keylight on the left side of the ball, it should be "behind" vince
take saturation down
make sure keylight is the one casting the shadow
add a cucoloris on the ball (the shadow of the leaves)
Keith-ballinhand
more blue contribution on the left side
FINAL
Keith- ballonsteps
looks good
missing edge blend
mohendra- UFO
start wide, then push in (in post)
object should be bigger, rim light on top and bottom
Sam- ball in hand
needs more light contribution from bounce on hand
odd cast shadow shape
look at what Aaron did
should be a basic spherical cast shadow
light is too cool all over the ball
color is good
needs edge blending
Brandon and Mohendra UFO-
have it come in angled then bank out (as opposed to it actually landing)
