Week 11 Dailies
Match Lighting:
David -
Little too much shadow on left.
Black line from pre-multiplying.
Too much shading on underside of ball.
Scale slightly larger.
Check colors/matching.
More light on right side of ball.
Contact shadow too high.
Yuka -
Un-premultiply.
Specular higher.
Color correct shadow.
Add spec hi-lite on top.
Greenscreen:
GS01 - B
Increase Gamma
Scale slightly
Fix neck
Bring down levels
GS01 - C
Scale incorrect, need to fix.
Low contrast, check resolution
Too much edge blur
Plus same issues as shot B.
GS01 - D
Same as above. Keep working on keys.
UFO:
Roy -
Spec not working, take out and make flat shaded.
Take off texture map.
Work more on lighting model.
Unable to tell the difference between texture map and lighting. Take off all patterns (for now.)
Higher Key fill ratio, 4:1 or 3:1
Too much light from underneath.
Chad -
Too much gliding.
Needs more space to make a turn at that speed.
Put plane behind house.
Use 4x as many propellers as in reality to get correct motion blur. (If in reality a two prop plane, then animate it with 8 props.)
Devank -
1st plane should go behind billboard.
More motion blur.
Try at 24fps instead of 29.97.
A little more light on planes, after 2nd pass, behind Sack's 5th Ave.
A little too black (check black levels)
What is the real size of the plane? What is the width of the building? Check your scales.
Cast a slight shadow on the billboard.
UFO too dark underneath.

GET RID OF THE GLOWS.
See reflection of bridge in the water for reference. diffuse the reflection to match the water.
Change angle of reflection (it's not in scale.)
Motion too fast.
Needs more parallax.
Reconstruct the camera and get the scale correct.
Add depth of field, atmosphere.
Later - use broad glow. Focus on scale & speed this week.
