Week 12 Dailies
GREENSCREEN:
GS01C -
Key is OK.
Fix color under chin.
Color correct skin tones.
GS03 -
Roto on hand.
Face tones too cool.
MATCH LIGHTING:
Jeff -
Lime a little too saturated.
Emi -
Change resolution to 720 x 480 for submission.
Sub surface scattering w/mental ray.
Paint in Caustic Effect. scoot object slightly forward.
Cheryl -
Too much blue.
Add more specular.
Take away blue haze.
Brightness/Gamma - Illuminate

Take a look during class.
UFO:
Jeff -
[/color]Blurry to Sharp - investigate cause???
Try sharpening a little more on the top.
Maybe a spec pass to bring in the reflection.
Add motion blur or directional blur.
Thin sliver of rim light.
A little trail of smoke would be a plus.

Resolution should be around 720 x 480.
Add a little more motion.
Add shadow on building.
Perhaps add some video noise? Or have UFO shoot something at photographer and cut out.
Fix lighting. Very Dark in front.
Make the dome transparent.

Use 4:3 resolution and just matte the 1.77
First Jet, more keylight. Maybe 2x the light.
See thru back window of truck slightly.
Maybe cut in a cleanplate when tank approaches.
Color correct tank - perhaps a Desert Color.

Fix reflection in water. Need to see underside of UFO.
The angle looks slightly tilted. Perhaps straighten and bring colser to camera.
(Add depth pass.)

Check scale. Distance says 24'
The UFO might be too large for the scene.
Alter trajectory so we can see more of the model.

Turn model into "Mars Attacks" type ship.
Brushed Alum or Stainless Steel metal.
Fix edge blend.
Lighting should be stronger. Very directional.
Fix shadows under the bridge.
Slow down the rotation of the ship to that it's more noticable.
