GS 01:
Use the usual slate
1. Slate must include: # of frames, scripts, artist, day, take
2. H resolution 16:9 (make sure it is 720 wide) 4:3
3. need frame # on lower right
4. Make sure to fill full resolution from left to right.
5. Put slate on frame 0.
6. Make sure there is a rim on Fiona’s leg.
7. Naming example: Gs01_vdq.1
8. Name the sequences properly. (eg: bg_sequence_01) with no space.
9. Comp sup needs to make sure all things are organized before turning in.
10. Bring in personal shots with individual slates.
GS 02:
1. Slate missing resolution, (720x480), and comment
2. Must duplicate the frames or time stretch to prevent 3:2 pull up.
3. Adjust the lighting, scale, and color on actor. Consider a re-shoot?
Match lighting:
AJ: for blurry frames, just duplicate it. Or throw out the frames and smooth out the frames on the curve by hand.
Olivia: library and trash can shots are not challenging enough.
The shoe shot: would be more interesting if wetted down, with Christmas light on. Consider using cg shoes walking down the stairs.
Randy: garbage can: would be interesting if wetted down, shot at magic hour. Consider using branches to create interesting shadow on the ground.
Penny: The background plate is too busy, flat lid, no opportunity for reflection. Consider putting the plane in a parking lot, Crissy field or union square. Shoot in high angle if permitted.
Fiona: all clips have to be 720x 480. Get clips that are low res as 720x480. Pick one that has shadows on top or reflections.
