I went to the site, but nothing really worked, the movie wouldn't play, but the little thumbnails on the bottom look pretty cool

ive seen it, n the effects defintely make up for the story! the story might not have sucked so much if they hadn't made stealth get 'human feelings'. but like i said, the effects are awesome, especially this one scene where this guy's plane crashes into a hill. this is one dvd definitely worth owning.

That’s an interesting thought; can’t the quality of the visual effects make up for a bad story, horrible writing, and atrocious acting? In my opinion, the answer is no, you have to have a strong foundation, you can build the biggest house in the world, but if you build it on sand its coming down. But I guess there are films out there that prove me wrong. Titanic for example awesome effects, bad story, horrible writing, and atrocious acting, (insert fat Simpson’s comic book guy) worst movie ever. But is was a hit, billions of people went to this big budget film to see Leonardo phone it in, and they were amazed by the ship sinking. You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him use a water glass.

you definitely have a point there. but here's what i think: you can have a huge ugly house with a very strong foundation thats going to keep it standing forever, but no one's going to appreciate it. the nicer house with the weak foundation may eventually come down, but it will be admired and talked about till it collapses, and maybe even after. my point is, it all depends on what you're looking for in a film. films like stealth with awesome visual effects overshadowing a lame story might not be doing well at the box office, but i would definitely watch it over and over again, just for the effects. and no, it isn't out on dvd yet.

The F/X are great!!! I most agree, but the story was not that strong. I guess that this reason made this film into kind of a flop at the box office.

Jessica Biel is in stealth? is there any story at all in this film, or is it all sfx?

well, the story is not all that great, its the tried and tested formula. but the sfx pretty much holds the whole film together

I love the fact that there were also miatures involded. Most of the miniatures were shot on blue screen. The same method was used in War of The Worlds.

miniatures are fun to work with. I would like to work on a film that uses miniatures for an entire city set.

i'll probably bite the bullet and watch it, but the idea of a bad story with good effects really bugs the hell out of me. bad writers directors and actors should all be shot, starting with the baldwins lol
