Dailies Week 7
For ML Submissions:
Render out as Quicktime Movie. Include one still frame of each:
* Slate
* Current Work
* Reference Photo
All Quicktime Movies to be 720 x 480. (If Shorter than 480 tall, then add black matte.)
Filenames should be ML01_(your initials)_(ref#).(frame#).mov
ML Dailies
Tyler:
* Less defraction at end of shadow.
* Crop in to fit TV/NTSC aspect ratio.
* Shadow is a little too dark.
* Correct color of shadow.
Devank:
* Change size to 720 x 480.
* Scale of amphora's need to be corrected. (Both should be the same size, but the second scaled down appropriately.)
* Pottery doesn't fit in the scene... too antique for a modern balcony.
* Add a little more blue in the cast shadows overlapping the object.
* Add a little orange in the shadows cast by the amphora's. (Light relfecting from the orange wall.)
*Perhaps move the object against the wall, instead of the middle of the walkway.
* Add texture map.
Emi:
* The new background on monitor looks good. OK to continue.
Jason:
*Looks good... keep working.
Yuka:
* Add a little more reflective light from monitor.
* Texture on shadow does not match object. Looks a little pixelated.
* Put more light on object... a little too dark.
* Make ground plane flat with grid.
* Ball should always be above ground plane. Move center of ball to ground (for scaling... everything should be at 0,0,0.)
* Measurements - what is the size of the object? Height of the camera? Distance from object?
UFO Dailies
Kristal:
* Too much camera movement. Try to keep at least one point (like an edge of building) in the camera at all times so that you have something to motion track to later.
* Re-shoot with a static frame.
* try to leave enough head-room to add UFO in back.
Roy:
* Storyboard Rooftop.
* Track building edge.
Emi:
* Determine how the UFO with enter & exit.
* Will it hover, or zoom in and out?
* If you stick with the night shot, will you model the lights on the UFO?
* Try to shoot the same shot during the day (for reference.)
