I was never a big doom fan, in fact I always thought that FPS were a waist of off discs untill i played Halo and everything from Tom Clancy. i'd like to see Halo as a film. but sadly there will probably be a cheap sat morning cartoon before there is a real film.

I just bought the fantastic four on dvd, and I have to say after all the bad i've heard about it, I enjoyed watching this film. I thought ben Grim should have been more cgi then he was but other than that it was a good movie. I'm watching the making of FF on the extra disk that comes with the wal mart package, pretty cool

I forgot to mention the best part about all the marvel comic films is looking for the man himself, he was a mail man in FF, I think he was a mail man in the hulk as well, in DD he was the guy the blind kid kept from walking into traffic. I don't think he was in any of the Blade films, but he shows up in all the bigname ones Spidy 1 and 2, and will be in 3, x men 1 and 2, DD, Ff and the Hulk.

I just read through this thread again and saw that there is no mention of the hitchhikers guide to the Gallaxy, really well done, and lives up to the book, and blew the hell out of ever past attemt to make this story into a film.

I hadn't heard of FF 2, I'm glad to hear it, any idea who the bad guy will be? the end of FF led us to think it might be Doom again, he is going to be like Freddy never die and always coming back for more, but it works because the bad guys never die in the comics either

Thats cool, I need to make some friends like that, did he walk you though or show you how he did some of the stuff, the second disk in the walmart package has a little about it, how they made exact models of the actors, and over layed them, then on Johny flame, they had his base flame layer, then they have muli levels oof flame color, and the jet behind him, then they added the long flame trail, all new layers. the thing i liked was the shot where he was flying through the city, and his trail cought news papers on fire. they shot the news papers in green screen, and set them a flame with cgi. too cool

I didn'r hear also about FF # 2. All i know is that it was kind of a flop at the box office. My friend worked on the animation and as a TD of "Mr. Flameo". I could not reach him for 5 months or so and when I did he invited me to see the progress. It was kinda cool. They have a lot of fun back at GKR...

not all remakes blow, just most of them lol. kidding, there are actually some remakes that were much better than the original, Although I would like a complete review of the Dukes of Hazard film before I spend a penny on it, much less 14 bucks for a dvd copy.
